MMS ii, in the Lower Haight, is the home to MMS' first commercial location. As of May 2017, MMS ii is managed by MMS premier teacher, Lizzie Clapper. Lizzie is head of the children's department at MMS and she also works with many of MMS' adult students. Lizzie is well versed in piano, voice, songwriting, music theory, and composition.
MMS ii hosts our very popular Lower Haight Music Night, our version of "open mic" in which MMS students and the San Francisco community come together on Friday nights to share music. These often turn into a group jam or sing-a-long and offer a safe environment for our students to practice performing and meet other MMS students and local musicians.
